Weekend off Begins!!!

Today is Friday. The last day of week one of Circuit Riders! Wow I am overwhelmed. I am so happy that this weekend is our free weekend! This morning we had a worship early at 9 AM and then a guy named Aaron Walsh spoke on the Love of God and Intimacy. It was a really good talk. Kind of repeat of some stuff that I have already heard. We had a prayer time asking God for intimacy or a revelation of his love or whatever. So I decided that I would try something new because I am still frustrated that I can't feel anything from God. So I said "Hey God, if you're there please get someone to come over and pray with me during this prayer time". And no one came. So I was really upset and frustrated. But Sarah gave me the same chat as yesterday to just keep on seeking him and keep on being obedient. But it's so hard!!!

Marit got an awesome revelation of his love and she was just so overwhelmed and cried so much! And after she gave me a little hug and told me a message from God - that he loves me. Which is all good and stuff. I guess maybe God just likes to use other people to give me messages and not to come straight to me... I don't know. Oh man. Ok. I will just not think about this again at all until next week.

After Aaron, one of the Circuit Rider guys came up and told his testimony which was related to the love of God. It was so heart warming (but really sad). It was about him getting his heart ripped out. But then God picked him up and flooded him with His love and man, Chase (the Circuit Rider guy) is just glowing. So God is good.

Also, all of the girls think that Chase is quite attractive. He sort of looks like Ryan Gosling and has an accent like Matthew McConaughey. He's pretty cute. And he liked my shoes. He called me "Steph with the cool green shoes". Awe yeah. Too bad the only boy I am here for is Jesus.

On the topic of boys, any of you who haven't realized yet that Schnegg and I are not dating. We aren't. It was a fun trick that we decided to play on our families. But we didn't get quite the reaction we had hoped for! Hahaha

For the afternoon we hung out at the other DTS's house. They have a slack line and a volley ball court and a soccer field and a tree swing and sweet stuff like that. So we just hung out for the afternoon. And had a BBQ, and I got to have a slab of salmon! O my. I needed that! But they cooked it in sausage grease so I am having a bit of indigestion currently haha! And then we went back to THOP for worship and prayer and hit the town again for more evangelism. Man it is hard. I can't say that I love it at all. Maybe it will get better.

I am really tired. It is 1 AM because we got home so late. And we have to get up at 8 because of our weekend plans. Ugh no sleep in. I don't even really know what is happening this weekend. It is not overly organized. All I know is that we are going to the Narnia beach and the hot water beach at some point this weekend and that we have rented vans. So tomorrow I am just getting in a van. I am pretty sure that no one organized a camp ground or anything though, so we will see how that goes! Oh man. I wish people would tell everyone what is going on! (That was my rant for the week, now I will let it go and hope we have somewhere to sleep tomorrow night)
