Rain, Cold and a Desperate Plea for a Toque

It is weird to think that I have only been here for two sleeps. It feels like it has been much much longer than that. Everyone is so nice and so awesome here. I have already made some sweet friends and I can't wait to get to know everyone better. The group of students that I am with is really cool. We are very cohesive and get along good. No cliques have emerged as of yet. At dinner we pull three tables together and all sit together (and exclude everyone else) haha.

Last night the staff members told their life stories. Life stories are basically all about one's personal journey to God or otherwise. Most of them were super deep. Me and the other students have to tell ours tonight and tomorrow. I am eager to learn about everyone's deep, dark secrets. But not so excited to tell my own... haha!

This afternoon after lunch we are heading in to Matamata to get supplies that we are missing. I have a long list of various items that I would like to purchase, these include:

- Toothpaste (I brought these weird toothpaste pellets from Lush because they are small and packed easily. But they taste nasty...)
- Toothbrush (I forgot the charger for my electric one)
- Body wash
- TOQUE and MITTENS (It is SO COLD HERE)
- Glutie friendly foods
- Notebook and school supplies
etc..

It is really rainy and windy today. The wind is really loud and makes the rain look really intense and hail-ish, but when you actually step outside it is just tiny little spits of rain (but lots of them) that are traveling horizontally with the wind. I may need to purchase some rain boots as well... but I do not regret my decision to bring my Uggs instead of my rain boots. It is nice to have something warm to wear on my feet!
