There is a lovely little coffee shop on the corner near the Library in town. We have decided that we will become regulars there every Friday. Dublin Del owns the shop and he makes a mean Latte. He remembered us from last week when we went in there today. He also made me some yummy roasted veggies... mmmmmm :)
This morning there was another lecture on the Holy Spirit by Mal Malone. He is so cool. I am such a skeptic, but I really believe that God speaks to him and through him. He and his wife prayed over me today. Teresa (his wife) really felt strongly about helping rid me of my lovely new allergies to gluten egg and dairy. She prayed for that aspect of my health, and Mal just did his own thing. But it was crazy, he totally knew stuff about me that only God could know. He said that there were many demons all over my body. I coughed them up. It was so weird. I don't feel any different yet, but it will be interesting to see how I might be changed in the future. I am still scared to eat gluten eggs and dairy though... But all in all an amazing and overwhelming experience. I never knew that prayer had that type of power.
My new favorite card game is Mow. There are mystery rules. So fun!
I found out who my one-on-one staff member will be. I am so pleased with my partner! When we did life stories, her story really spoke to me and I felt like I could relate to her and I really was hoping to be with her! So my one-on-one will be Carly! I am so excited to hang out with her and get to know her better. I think that I have a lot to learn from her!
Also, our laundry day has turned into many days and is still a fiasco. Yesterday, when we tried to start the laundry, we had it all ready with soap and all, and realized that we didn't have any 2 dollar coins... then once we found 2 dollar coins, we were so smart and couldnt figure out how to put them in the machine! And then we hung them out on the line, but could not find any clothes pins, so this morning they were all over the ground (Undies everywhere!!!) and then it rained all day today, so they are still wet.... so much for having clean clothes!!!
That's about all that is up. I have stocked up on glutie snacks so that is exciting! And I got REAL COFFEE and a French press (which the Kiwi's call a 'Plunger' which just reminds me of toilets... Yuck!) so now I can have coffee and not gross instant stuff! And tomorrow is Saturday (weekend! yay!) so I get to sleep in (breakfast at 8!) and then we are going to the beach... but it is supposed to rain all day, so we will see how that goes! Pray for sunshine please!
